TOWER OF BABEL – AMSTERDAM

ART PROGRAM OF THE NDSM WERF FOUNDATION

Within the Toren van Babel art project, the NDSM-werf Foundation and TAAK host open workshops, accessible to anyone who wants to be part of the project.

Opening of the Activities on September 18th 2021

The tower hasn’t been built yet as its construction is part of the proposed workshops, so what I illustrated here is a possible architecture, or the ghost of a future common public building. A beautiful project that will host community workshops involving neighbours, new migrants, children and adults, around Art for Social change projects in crafts, sports, language exchange, tea tasting, photography for children. All practice with in mind a societal movement, a change of perspective, integrating the Commons we have into our diverse urban settings.

Many thanks to Theo Tegelaers who invited me and the team at NDSM and TAAK !
